A hale and hearty 'hello' to all,
Well, it is done.
The hardest academic portion of my career has come and gone...
I have battled O-Chem, wrestled with Physics, and delved into the mysteries of our fellow Terrans (Zoology). Oh, and all the labs, too.
These were all done simultaneously to better(?) prepare me for the task of applying to medical school, a dream that has now become a definable goal that will reach fruition with help, love, and support from my friends, understanding on the part of my family, patience on the part of my girlfriend, and a little hard work from me.
I took the Medical College Admissions Test (or MCAT) about two weeks ago with Launchpad.
We had coughed up the ante for a prep course (US $1500.00) and the scratch for the test itself (US $200.00) and worked through reviews, class sessions with a rookie instructor, study groups, full-length practice MCATS, and the Day of Fate itself.
Results available in October.
Launchpad will not be joining us for this next semester as he will be working full-time in his second job for a while,
but his ass better be there for graduation or there will be hell to pay!
I just wanted to say 'Thank You' to everyone who will read this and to the people who may not get the chance...I know I haven't kept up with phone calls, letters, hanging out, visiting, or making time to be there. I wanted to say that the time was put to good use, and I am looking forward to getting back on track with visiting, phone calls, ect...
I could not have done this without you guys...
